Deivi Norberg

Deivi is a Research Consultant at PRD who is interested in local planning and economic strategies built on the principles of inclusivity, sustainability and community cohesion.

Over the past three years, Deivi has been working towards a PhD in Geography at Queen Mary, University of London. Her thesis investigates how increasing rents and the loss of low-cost commercial space have affected small businesses in East London. Through participatory research methods, she supported devising community-led solutions to spatial and economic problems to protect businesses against displacement. Her doctoral studies provided her with extensive knowledge about local government, planning and community development.

Deivi is currently supporting qualitative and quantitative data analysis on a variety of projects at PRD.
