Anaihita is a Research Consultant at PRD with a strong interest in themes of sustainability, regeneration, and infrastructure. In 2021, she completed the MSc in International Planning from the Bartlett School of Planning at UCL, previously having graduated with a BA in Geography from Durham University. During her academic career, Ani undertook a variety of research projects, covering themes ranging from studentification processes in Glasgow to energy transitions for low-income housing in Cape Town. Her postgraduate studies – through lectures and planning & design projects – provided her with a particularly keen appreciation for the importance of contextual considerations in placemaking processes. Her MSc dissertation was an exploration of how biophilic design principles can be interpreted and applied in a locally sensitive and contextually appropriate manner in the United Arab Emirates.
Ani also has prior internship experience across India and the UAE.
